1. Submission & Document Assessment
Clients submit their documents in editable formats (e.g., .doc, .docx). Our team reviews the content to determine the type of editing required—basic proofreading or full editing.

2. Language & Style Matching
We identify the document’s purpose (e.g., academic, business, legal) and ensure that the assigned editor is specialized in the appropriate field and familiar with the relevant style guide (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).

3. Proofreading & Editing
Our editors will:
Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
Improve sentence clarity, structure, and flow
Adjust tone and word choice to fit the document’s purpose
Ensure consistency and formatting based on language conventions

4. Quality Control & Second Review
Each document undergoes a secondary review to maintain our high linguistic standards and ensure no errors are overlooked.

5. Delivery & Client Feedback
The final edited version is returned along with a tracked version for comparison. Clients are welcome to provide feedback or request minor revisions within 7 days of delivery.

Upon request, we issue a Certificate of Proofreading or Editing, especially for academic submissions or journal articles.
Price
At LinguaProof, we offer flexible and transparent pricing based on the type of service, document length, and required turnaround time. For standard proofreading, which includes grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic formatting corrections, our rates start from IDR 25,000 per 250 words for general or academic documents, and IDR 30,000 per 250 words for business or official documents.
For more comprehensive editing services—such as improving sentence structure, clarity, tone, and overall coherence—our advanced editing packages begin at IDR 40,000 per 250 words for academic content like theses or journal articles, and IDR 50,000 per 250 words for professional or business documents.
We also provide high-quality translation and editing services between Indonesian and English. This bilingual service starts from IDR 75,000 per 250 words for general documents and IDR 100,000 per 250 words for academic, legal, or specialized business texts.
If you require an urgent turnaround, we offer express services with a 24–48 hour delivery window for an additional 30% of the total service fee, depending on availability and document complexity. Upon request, we can also issue a Certificate of Proofreading or Editing which is especially useful for academic or publishing purposes.
